Our new range of standpipes is a non-mechanical metered standpipe utilising the direct ultrasonic principle for the measurement of water. The Ultrasonic Standpipe Flowmeter is a patented design flowmeter, specifically designed by Saxon Industrial Supplies for use on ‘spring and ball’ type hydrants. As a non-mechanical meter, and having no moving parts, the meter does not require any servicing or calibration through its normal use. It has a battery life span of 6-8 years and has SMART capabilities. The meter is tamperproof, protected by a cast aluminium cover. All new ultrasonic standpipes have a warranty period of 24 months.
